2023 Annual Conference Rides

In 2023, the United Methodist Holy Rollers will get together for a trail ride in May and a destination ride to the Annual Conference in Roanoke in June.

    Ride on the Capital Trail:

On Saturday, May 27, 2023, the Holy Rollers will pedal a 66-mile round trip ride between Four Mile Creek Park in Henrico and the Chickahominy Riverfront Park in James City County. Gather in the parking lot at Four Mile Creek Park at 8:30 a.m. If you want a shorter ride, you can turn around and return to Four Mile Creek Park earlier, or you can have one of the support cars that will be nearby take you and your bike back to the park. After the ride, we will go get lunch somewhere. The support vehicles will have extra fluid and snacks available during the ride. Everyone is welcome! No registration is required.

    Destination Ride to Annual Conference:

On Monday and Tuesday, June 12 – 13, 2023, the Holy Rollers will ride from Waynesboro, VA to Roanoke, VA. We will start gathering on the evening of Sunday, June 11. Each day’s ride is around 50 miles.

Registration is required but free. We ask that in lieu of sending us a registration fee that you send whatever amount of money you can afford to the missions that we support. Encouraging people to give to missions is why we ride.

You can see a full itinerary for the ride here. The itinerary includes route information.

We are planning a gathering meal at Heritage on Main restaurant in Waynesboro at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 11. Please let us know when you register whether you will be at the dinner so we can let the restaurant know.
