Raising Money for Missions in the United Methodist Church

Holy Rollers ride to encourage people to contribute all they can to missions supported by the United Methodist Church. The UMC has a long history of providing support and relief during disasters and emergencies around the world. People in need find a caring response to ease their burdens. The connectional nature of the UMC makes a focused and fast response anywhere in the world much easier. One of the best benefits of the United Methodist process for contributing to missions, called the Advance, is that 100% of your donation reaches the mission that you have chosen. Overhead costs are covered by the operating budgets of United Methodist Churches.

In 2023, the Holy Rollers request that you make contributions to these missions:

  1. Advance #982450: UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) International Disaster Response and Recovery.
This Advance supports efforts to help in Ukraine and in Turkey/Syria.
